Sermon Notes:-
Hallelujah: Nothing gladdens God than wisdom, void of this virtue is a cheat on destiny (Hosea 4:6). A gracious woman retains honour and a strong man retaineth riches (Prov: 11:16).
Now hear me, all true riches hovers around these two inseparable commodities: honour and wealth. While the former is earned, the latter is gained. All forms of honour beget a certain level of wealth and can be multiplied through pure knowledge (2 Pet 1:2).
Please hear me, be careful what you celebrate. Nothing threatens honour more than praise; you can be clapped out of honour through praise and you can be tricked out of wealth by ignorance. Just one minute: watch that man or group that is praising you now; they can be the plotters. Praise is not an evidence of loyalty but solidarity. Beware, every loser was once praised.
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthymeditate on these things (Philippians 4:8).
Forever, Oh Lord thy word is settled in heaven (Psalms 119:89).
