Scripture Text: 1 Samuel 15:22
"But Samuel replied: 'Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.'"
Obedience is the master key to unlocking and enforcing every prophecy over your life. When God speaks, His word is already settled in heaven, but its manifestation on earth depends on our alignment with His instructions.
Total obedience means doing what God says, when He says it, and how He says it. Partial obedience is still disobedience. Like King Saul, many attempt to substitute sacrifice for obedience, but God values a yielded heart above all religious activities.
Why Total Obedience?
- It proves our love for God (John 14:15).
- It positions us for divine blessing (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).
- It creates a platform for God to fight our battles.
As you step into this season, determine to be a doer of the word. Don't negotiate with divine instructions. Your next level is hidden in the last instruction you received but are yet to fully obey.
Prayer: "Lord, give me a heart that is fully yielded to You. Help me to obey You completely and without delay. Let Your prophecies be fulfilled in my life as I walk in alignment with Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Forever Oh Lord thy word is settled in heaven (Psalms 119:89). Jesus never fails. Remain lifted.
